It’s a beautiful long weekend here in BC, and I’m stealing a few moments from the landscaping project underway outside to sneak into my office and write a quick post!

I’m so excited and thankful to share that one of Kerrisdale Design’s projects has been featured in the September issue of Style at Home magazine! It is always a pleasure to be included in SAH, and I’ve been waiting for the issue to come out like at kid at Christmas. You can imagine my shock to find out a couple weeks back from my photographer Tracey that the project had also made the front cover!!!  I had just picked up Ben from sports camp, and there I sat in my {to be frank, very messy} car, the kids in the back a tad grumpy and pestering each other, and the dog jumping all over the front seat. I was flustered and it was hot and I heard a couple messages come through on my phone:

Can I tell you something? The sound of Mommy squealing very loudly from the front seat is incredibley effective at getting siblings to stop bickering! It was a wonderful surprise to hear we were on the cover, and it made the fun of seeing the issue on newstands even greater!

I’ll be posting later this week with details on some of the furnishings from the project that are available for purchase through Kerrisdale Design {I’m already getting inquiries about them so I figured it’d be nice and easy to post the info for everyone!}, as well as a post with some more detailed info about the project.
