New Home, New Projects {ok, lot’s of them}

We’ve moved!

A few months ago we said goodbye to our little house in the suburbs {a few pics below taken on moving day of our empty rooms!} and moved to a new home {ok, still in the suburbs!} with more space, inside and out.

Old House {really bad iphone pictures, sorry!}

The New House {BEFORE pictures from the realtor}

ENTRY

LIVING & DINING ROOMS

KITCHEN

EATING NOOK

FAMILY ROOM

VIEW DOWN SIDE HALLWAY {Cubby/Lockers, Door to Garage, Door to Laundry, Mudroom, Basement}

MUDROOM {this was a very strange, deceivingly large room that was used as a mudroom/storage room…but guess who’s office it is becoming??? You need to have good vision!!}

POWDER ROOM

MASTER BEDROOM

UPPER LANDING {doors to the Master, 3 other bedrooms, bathroom, playroom}

PLAYROOM {love the potential of this room, plus excited about having space for the kids toys!!}

As you can see, we have lots of work to do to get the house to feeling like “US”, but we immediately fell in love with the floorplan of the home, the neighborhood {cul-de-sac!}, and it plain old felt like a wonderful family home. Can’t wait to update you on progress as we renovate, paint, and decorate our new home!

And a couple last pictures…

Though there are YEARS worth of projects to do on our new home {and I have to remind myself to be patient and just enjoy our home and the process}, our kiddos from day one have been loving it… In between learning to ride bikes with no training wheels and jumping on the new trampoline, my budding entrepreneurs had a ball setting up a Freezie stand in the cul-de-sac for the new neighbors!
