Give a Girl a Break!
We all have bad days now and then. My poor Carys {18 mo} is having a rough week. Monday – dislocated her elbow at the Library {ouch!} and the doctor couldn’t get it to cooperate with being put back in. Tuesday – after a night of little sleep, the doctor has success putting it back in {ah relief!}. Wednesday – develops a fever and a sore throat {boo!}. When’s the girl gonna get a break? While Wednesday’s are normally a work/appointments day for me, the girl is home and I’ve rescheduled my consultations for the day. Thank goodness for being self employed and thank goodness for sweet & understanding clients!
Yesterday afternoon {after being up a lot during the night due to her sore arm} my girl crashed on the sofa….worn out from the day of doctors and x-rays and other tiring things. Fast Asleep. I couldn’t resist taking some pictures of her. Did I mention she loves to have her toenails painted? She insists on a coat of coral pink on her tootsies. Call me a sucker but I just can’t say no to those big brown eyes or her sweet little “pwease” as she points at her toes.

I’m kinda jealous of those lashes! Lucky girl!

I’m off to go snuggle on the sofa, read books, and play with My Little Ponies. Have a wonderful Day!

She’s a doll and will heal in no time! Kiddies are so resilient. Love the little toesies shot
Youch – poor thing. What kind of vicious library do you visit? Gorgeous pics!
Aw, poor little munchkin, what a week! I hope there are good nights + naps for both of you! xoxo
She is lovely – hope she feels better soon
Poor girl! She’s had a rough go. Hopefully no more drama for awhile, us mom’s need some time to recuperate:)
Oh is she adoarble! Poor little one, hope she feels better soon. Love those little toes…mine is 4 and I wonder all the time when the last time will be to nibble her toes. It goes by so fast, yet sometimes not fast enough.

Awww, poor little Carys! What a tough little cookie though! Gotta love those precious little faces when they sleep. And those cute pink toesies are the best.
….what a beauty!
Oh my goodness those sweet little toes just need to be smooched. Poor Carys, I hope the rest of this week can be on the up-swing for her
I have to admit that the first thing I thought when I saw that sweet little photo of her feet, I immediately thought, ‘Her toe nails are painted pink!!! I love it!’
Thanks for your sweet comments today, and for always being such a supportive blogger friend, I really appreciate it!

Poor girlie! I do think she and my Caroline would be BFF’s if they lived closer. . . This past week, she fell off the porch at my in-laws and hit her cheek on a rock. Huge bruise on cheek. The next day, my 4-year-old picked her up and threw/dropped her into our coffee table. Huge bruise on forehead. She looks rough!
How do you get yours to sit still enough to paint toenails? We are nowhere near that yet!!!
