A busy busy day it’s been thus far….wallpaper shopping, working on floorplans and design schemes for a basement {the ultimate hangout basement, can’t wait to share with you!} and a home office, and doing other not so fun things like bookeeping and reconciling transactions in my accounting software {yawwwnnn…}

As I’ve been working away, I’ve been dreaming of lounging on a beach like this one:

I first came across this photographer {Christian Chaize} through Jenny at  Little Green Notebook….isn’t his work stunning? I adore the colours, the happy vintage-y mood, and would love to spend an afternoon on that beach!

And although I realize this gorgeous stretch of sand is in Portugal, this song {to me} is the perfect soundtrack to a lazy afternoon of beach lounging:
